Please make sure that both the display and HDMI cable connected to the TV adapter support HDCP 1.3 or higher.
Do you get the same result when using extended display mode instead of clone (duplicate) mode? Are you using any video adapter or converter?
You may also test this using the HDMI cable directly connected to the display, without Intel® WiDi.
Do you get an exact error message from the VOD sites?
