Re: Still no fixed BIOS for DZ68BC

So I contacted Intel to follow up on this issue since i still have an open service ticket, here is what a rep replied:

 

Dear Stephan,


Thank you for contacting Intel ® support.

Kindly not that the Intel® Desktop Board DZ68BC has reached the End of Interactive Support status http://ark.intel.com/products/56461/Intel-Desktop-Board-DZ68BC This indicates that there is no future plans to release new BIOS for it.

Kindly check the link of the support website that contains helpful information to assist in solving the issues you might face with the motherboard http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/db-dz68bc

Well we all know the issue was there before the product reached EOL.

 

I say we come together and file a lawsuit against Intel on this matter and demand for compensation/full refund/proper solution on replacement or Intel produces a stable fixed BIOS Intel should know that people purchase this parts for long term usage not 1 or 2 months but for years worth of usage.

 

Problem was caused by a slew of faulty BIOS produced by Intel 0035, 0036, 0037, 0039 & 0042 all the mentioned BIOS files don't fix the issues.

 

I say lets SUE INTEL over THE DZ68BC fiasco, maybe then they'll listen to us.
