Paridhi,

Be sure to read the comments in the cpp file. I have a lot of technical detail that I cover there. Since you are looking at the touchscreen driver, does that mean you got past some of the other display errors you had? Care to post some details to help others?

The driver isn't a normal Linux driver. It is just a user-mode application that talks to a Linux driver. You need the uinput kernel module installed but that is the only thing you need to do with the kernel. You compile the cpp file with gcc. I compiled it directly on the Galileo board but Bobzin posted some info on how to cross compile. The compiler flags to specify are in the touch.cpp comments. Once compiled, you just run it. As long as it is running, it will be polling the device and sending the touchscreen cooridinates to the uinput driver. Any application, such as XOrg that supports the kernel input driver interface will see it just the same as if you plugged in a USB touchscreen.

nono, u understood me wrong, the GPU is 100% what is absolutly logical cause its a GPU stress test...

the CPU itself has all cores average not more then 10%

but i discovered something strange.... i furmark i can switch of the furry ring. if i do that the Core0 then drasticly gains load (30 -50%, the other cores are unchanged) , while GPU load is still 50%

if i turned the ring on again the load from the single core goes back as before.

however....this seems absolutly not logical for me, when i turn off the ring, which had to decrease the load, the load of the core goes up that much ?

"Wake on USB from S4/S5" is not available in the DN2820FYKH-bios..., only "Wake on LAN from S4/S5" (but not the USB variant).

Here you go

150109183901.jpg

Go to internal cpu power management

change the values save and exit, after boot check with xtu

I also tried some adaptive voltage, not sure if correct

150109184823.jpg

This is stable with recomended intel multipliers (44-44-43-42), asus all cores optimization disabled. I'll post soon another photo from bios with the multipliers settings.

I wonder if I could lower the voltages some more and how.

Edit : multiplier settings

Hi all and happy new year!

Just bought myself a NUC, installed Corsair low voltage 4gb RAM and tried to boot it, however, there is nothing picked by the display (I've tried a couple of different cables and displays).

The power light is steady on for about 30 seconds, it then turns off and appears to reboot - I can hear a fan inside the device.

I also tried recovering / updating the BIOS by removing the jumper and inserting a USB stick with the .bio folder but still nothing, beginning to think its a faulty board unless I've missed something blatantly obvious? (please forgive me, a bit of a noob with this!)

any opinions and thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance

Kurt.

How to get back from IRST-created RAID to IDE?

$

Hello,

I have an HP Z800 Workstation with a 1.5TB HDD running Win7Pro-64. I've been using a 128GB SSD cache (Synapse/Dataplex) for about a year with no trouble, but thought that IRST would do a better job, for writing in particular. So I installed IRST... and run into touble.

IRST put the two disks into a RAID... but since the disks are not the same geometry, and I appear to have an old chipset, it never actually worked: IRST was unable to create a cache (i.e. to accelerate the HDD with the SSD) and the SSD became useless, as its Dataplex conroller clashed with the RAID.

In short, I would like to GET RID of the RAID (in view to replace the HDD by an SSD altogether)... but that appears to be impossible: I uninstalled RST and followed the "removdrv.txt" advice to switch (back) from RAID to IDE in the machine Setup... but Windows BSODs unless I keep the RAID. Yes, I tried all and every "Repair" options Win7 could offer.

So my question is: how can I get rid of the (useless) RAID and get back to IDE? Important: since the RAID never actually worked, ALL the data are still on the HDD in all integrity - proof: I took the SSD out of the machine and it still works fine. The HDD is fine, with all data there - surely it must be possible to access it via IDE rather than RAID?

Many thanks for your advice!

Hi Intel

My platform is quark x1000. And my platform use Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module.

Step (1) We used "uclibc" to build SD card image in quark x1000.

My platform BT bluetooth is pass.

Step (1) We used eglibc to build SD card image in quark x1000.

My platform BT bluetooth is fail.

              hcitools can not init BT.

$ rfkill list

0: hci0: Bluetooth

        Soft blocked: yes

        Hard blocked: no

Do u have any idea to fix the issue about BT fail in eglibc?

Thanks

Here are a list of drivers for your motherboard:  Intel® Download Center  There are no drivers listed for Windows 8.1

You may want to use Intel® Driver Update Utility

Both your processor and motherboard are EOL (end of life).

ARK | Intel® Core™ i3-530 Processor (4M Cache, 2.93 GHz)

ARK | Intel® Desktop Board DH55TC

You may want to try finding a driver using your processor's codename (Clarkdale) in item #2 in this link:  Intel® Download Center

However, I see no drivers for Windows 8/8.1.  You might be successful using the Windows 7 64-bit driver, but I cannot guarantee that you will.

Perhaps one of the Intel Support Staff will be able to provide a better answer.

Hi Apachez,

thank you for your reply. Now I know that the cable should work, as you are using the same successfully.

I have selected the DVI input on my monitor. (I can switch between the DVI-D and the analog VGA input on my SyncMaster 226BW. This is tested with my old PC.)

Also I tested, when nothing was plugged in the the mini-HDMI port.

The NUC also does not diplays the bios startup using the mini-displayport! From that I know it is not a windows driver problem. (Also OpenELEC is not working with the DVI input of my monitor.)

Could it be that HD Graphics 5000 has a problem with the resolution on mini-HDMI port? The Samsung monitor is running with 1680 x 1050 resolution, when it is conected  with the VGA input via mini-HDMI. I have only this monitor and can not test if the monitor is not campatible with the NUC Graphic port.

I found a very simple workaround to this problem. I just made the "Intel(R) HD Graphics Control Panel Service" service not automatic but manual and rebooted my computer. After the reboot neither igfxHK.exe nor any other Intel process is running. I really don't need any of them and not going to enable them back after this bug will be fixed. Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right in IntelliJ IDEA works properly now.

My system: Dell Latitude E7440 laptop with Windows 7 and 15.36.7.64.3960 version of Intel HD graphics driver.

Yes I did the same few days ago, but it dosn't change the fact that this crappy Panel looks ugly and it is bugged.

Why to use this Control Panel in the first place? The standard Windows functionality is enough.
